From my Sketchbook

Beautiful memories…

At the moment I try to draw / paint a sketch every day. My current sketchbook is a Stillman & Birn 14cm x 21.5 cm – It is very well suited for small watercolor sketches with the 270g paper, sometimes it gets very watery in my painting. The paper does not curl too much. I will try to paint with gouache soon. For this I look very much like the Youtube posts by James Gurney .

When I sit down to sketch, I always have to leaf through the booklet first. Then come back again and again beautiful memories in the memory. The beautiful shared experiences of outdoor painting on the beaches, in the cities and in nature. But the Virtual Sketchwalk, in which many watercolor painters from all over the world participate, has its special charm, even if you can not meet in person, but only via the Web.
