Calendar week 31

Hurray, hurray, August is here

A lot has changed in my planning. So I can continue to paint what I currently enjoy! So I decided on FREESTYLE COLOR themes. Almost exactly 5 years ago I painted for the very first time outside on site in the heath near Herrmannsburg. This is where this watercolor was created, in a very unusual style

Now I would like to pick up on it and paint more motifs in this way. First I would like to paint tonal watercolors. Then I would like to try out color extensions. Let’s see what will come of it …

Live stream on Tuesday

At about 10:30 am it starts again …

I don’t have a photo template yet. But it should be a tram or subway.

SO! 3 HOURS OF STREAMING SHOULD ENOUGH TODAY — ON FRIDAY IT GOES ON WITH THE TRAM!

I THEN STREAM IN NIGHTSHIFT MODE, SO AT 10:30 PM

Events

Too many fixed appointments create pressure …

STOP! That was not the way it was intended!

I noticed that fixed dates are not really for me! Every day things come in between or you are under time pressure. Then it makes sense to paint during the rest periods if possible and just start the stream. It’s not about creating some great films or even tutorials. Saying HELLO to the world is enough. And it’s nice to have a chat while you’re at it.

The very hot days should now be over and so I can stream again in the evening with the window closed. So without insect invasion  😉 –  Friday evening fits me well as a weekly stream. I have to do without daily sketches at the moment, as my eyes are a bit damaged at the moment. My varifocal glasses with blue filter are already in the works. At the end of the month I will probably be able to use it.

In the last stream I started with the tram. The motif is quite detailed and I got involved with it. So again, nothing with a well thought-out, fluid painting style. I painted a lot of small and small. Now I just quickly created the background with trees and splashes, far away from the PC and the monitors.

Friday is done … Here is my tram
